Shippuden really offered us a variety in battles. This section will highlight 9 randomnly chosen battles from Shippuden. So, lets get started, shall we?
This was indeed a great fight! I always enjoy battles with Shikamaru because it’s amazing how well he can plan things out.
In all fairness, Kakuzu did fight several other members, but I was drawn to his battle with Naruto because I honestly didnt think he would be able to do it (alone).
Yes! This fight is also another favorite. Felt like a tug of war from both sides.
At the time this fight aired, there was so little that we knew of Kisame, so when I saw this battle, I was really anxious to see what type of opponent Kisame would be.
It goes without saying that this was a great battle. The animation was well executed. Not only did we get to see Jiraiya in his final form, but we also got to see how strong his opponent, Pain is!
Battle of the Sharingan! After years, and years of waiting, this is probably one of the most anticipated battles next to Naruto vs Sasuke.
This battle kept me on my heels as Naruto was struggling to control the Kyuubi’s powers against one of the strongest ninja at the time, Orochimaru-sama.
Prior to this battle, it had been a long time since we saw some fighting action from Sakura-chan. Not only did this battle show her growth, it also showed her strength and how much she has improved as a medical ninja.
Oooh! A battle at night time! This battle was great. It showed how strong Deidara and Gaara have become. I also felt there was an interesting dynamic as both opponents have long-ranged attacks and can levitate.

Out of the many battles that the first 9 seasons offered us, this is a round up of 9 that we thought were great battles.
Who can forget this battle at the Chuunin exams? We get to see two of our strongest go at it, and boy was it a great fight to watch!
Ever wondered what would happen to you if you joked about Chouji’s size? Well, I sure as heck don’t want to find out! Poor Jiroubu, he had to learn the hard way. It goes without saying that if you care for your safety, to never say the three letter word (F*T) to Chouji or be prepared to face the consequences!
This battle showed great teamwork on both sides!
This battle was great! The fact that Neji’s opponent had an advantage (long-ranged), really kept me on my toes. Both ninja have two completely different fighting styles, and overall was a great watch!
And who could forget this one? It was years ago when I saw this for the first time, and even now, this is still arguably one best fights within the first 9 seasons of Naruto.
I have a confession… I am a sucker for wild Bijuu! One of the things that I think made this such a great battle was the teamwork between Naruto and Gunta. It also showed how strong wild Bijuu are!
Out of all the battles with against the Sound Four, this one kept me on my toes the most! Both sides kept the tricks coming till the very last end.
A battle I will never forget, It goes with out saying that this is without a doubt one of the best fights in Naruto history. The battle gave us revived legends, a display of extremely high and rare jutsu, a brief glimpse of the First and Second Hokages natural personalities, and of course, action packed fighting!
Ah, the battle (or reunion should I say?) of the 3 Legendary Sannin. Nevermind the fact that all three are strong, hokage level, and each have their own unique abilities. It’s about the deep amount of history between these three that makes it such a great battle, and the fact that we see the our first triple kuchiyose no jutsu!
In chapter 454, things are started off with an introduction to Tsuchikage. Right away he complains about his hips, saying that they are like a virtual time bomb. Now in all fairness, he is old, but it makes me wonder if there is something else going on with those hips! 
Tsuchikage! How can you expect to be great and fearsome and then complain about your hips?!
Oh well. I do have a feeling that as Madara brings the war on, and should a battle that involves Tsuchikage takes place, that his hips could possibly be a major factor in determining the outcome of that particular battle.
As for the hip issue, I think I know a great solution:

Apparently so it seems. The 8 tails suggests that Bee should help Naruto. He then talks about how he doesn’t like the Kyuubi.
Interesting. I wonder why the 8 tails doesnt like the Kyuubi? What happened between these two? I wonder if the other Bijuu know of each other like the 8 tails and 9 tails do, and what feelings do they share towards eachother?
