Madara wasn’t lying…

… back in chapter 462 when he said he can see the power of the Senju flowing within Naruto.

It all started in chapter 460 page 6. While Saskue was battling things out with the other Kage, Madara appeared before Naruto questioning him about how he was able to make Nagato betray him. Madara then went on to elaborate about the Sage of the Six Paths.

And as Madara gave Naruto a history lesson on the Uchicha, he also told Naruto that he could see that the fire of the Senju dwells within Naruto. Madara went on to even say that he saw the first Hokage within Naruto. As you know, Hashirama, the First Hokage, was known to be incredibly strong, and it’s no secret that he had the ability to control bijuu. The above image is a snippet from Chapter 462, page 12. Madara states that the older brother was born with the Sage’s “Eyes” and was gifted with powerful chakras and spiritual energy. And then he states that the younger son was born with the Sage’s body and was gifted with his life force and Physical energy. Sages body… Gifted with with life force and Physical energy… Hrmm.., kinda sounds like a modern day Naruto. ^__^

This is very interesting to me… For starters this seal covers Narutos body much like the younger son, the Senju, inherited Rikudo’s body. Is this possibly a hint as to what Madara was speaking of when he said he saw inside the Senju/Hokage in Naruto?

Chapter 499 Review – A New Seal!

Holy Crap! This chapter was truly epic! It delivered and I found it to be such a great read. I was definitely hit by the didn’t-see-that-one-coming-no-jutsu! Anyway, let’s get right into it!

Naruto looks so focused and relaxed right now!

Wow, don’t you just love Kushina’s powers? #teamkushina ftw! I still can’t believe she can supress the Kyuubi even if for a limited time. It’s no wonder those kumo-nin kiddnapped her when she was younger given all the hassle they went through trying to find a jinchuuriki to control the Oxtails.

Incredible. OMG, In the quickness, Naruto switched to sage mode and obviously surprised the Kyuubi. Amazing… the size, the count, the amount of chakra… wow. Naruto has become exceptionally strong. +1 for Naruto.

Brb, I have to go pick my face up off the floor because this page made my face fall off. *pause* Okay, back! ^___^ Omg, who saw this one coming? I did, but I didn’t. I do remember when Madara approached Naruto, telling him the truth about Sasuke and Itachi. During that time, Madara told Naruto that he saw the power of the Senjuu flowing with in him. Could this be what Madara was talking about? Maybe Madara wasn’t lying… #speculation ftw. Interesting.

And who saw this one coming? I never would have expected Mother and Son to be Jinchuuriki, but given what we have seen of Kushina, it’s no surprise that she was a host when you see how she’s able to handle the Kyuubi. Unfortunately, there wont be a chapter next week #sadface, but hopefully the next chapter, chapter 500 will give us at least 20+ pages and a color spread. Whatever happens, the next chapter will surely be worth the wait and we learn more about the past.

Gief us more Konan!

Gief us more Konan! I want to see more of her. Period.

RIGHT NOW KISHI OR ELSE! *kidding* ^^’

But seriously.. I always  thought her style of fighting and the whole paper jutsu stuff was just so cool! It reminded me of Read or Die! It’s a shame Jiraiya put her out of action rather quickly because I was looking forward to seeing more action!

In chapter 449,  as Konan bids fairwell, with Naruto, she says that Amegakure will help him make his dream come true. Yay! To me, this says that we can expect an appearance from her sometime in the future! I wonder how? As Madara brings on the war, will she make an appearance when we least expect it, or will we only see her through a flashback, or… bleh, I’ll just wait and try to stop daydreaming. =P

And let’s not also forget that Konan took Yahiko and Nagato’s body to give them a proper farewell, so she has or knows where the Rinnegan is located. I only bring this up because Madara said this which left me under the impression that he or someone from his team will set out and look for her and/or the rinnegan which means more Konan for us to see! Yay!

I wonder if she will have more roses to give away.

Wallpaper: The Fifth Mizukage

In mark of our grand opening, I have created this custom wallpaper featuring The Fifth Mizukage, Mei. This wallpaper was created using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator CS3. When we were first introduced to the other Kage, I was and have always been drawn to Mei. And when chapter 457 was released, Kishimoto gave us our first glimpse of those same Kage in COLOR(woot!!)! Right away, I felt inspired to get started and create one of the FIRST illustrations of the Fifth Mizukage, Mei.

I did not do the line art.  PokeFreak was kind enough to let fellow deviants use his line art, (thanks PokeFreak!) and from there, the process began.  I colored it in Illustrator and created the wallpapers via photoshop. Do the waves behind the Mizukage look familiar?! =D The waves and the concept for the Mizukage themed wallpaper were inspired from The Great Wave off Kanagawa, a famous woodblock print by the Japanese artist Hokusai.

When The Fifth Mizukage was initially created (2009) , it was not a wallpaper, but an illustration just because I love Mei! I knew that when I finished, that I was going to turn it into a wallpaper. Chapter 498: Kushina! <3

Even though I was happy enough with Naruto meeting his father, I always hoped somehow that he would meet his mother too and it finally happened! Kishi sure know’s how to deliver. Right into the second page, I knew I’d like her personality.

Page 4 is a true Kodak moment. There is no bond like a bond between a mother and her child, and it really shows on this page.

The chains that emerged from Naruto appear to be Kushina’s chakra. Her chakra must really be special if it can hold down the Kyuubi. Interesting.

Amazing. Kushina revealed that Naruto’s father, Minato, also used Kushina’s chakra to seal the Kyuubi. Prior to this page, many of us were left with the impression that it was Minato who was responsible for sealing the Kyuubi, but I guess that was only half right. ^__^ The idea of Kushina using her chakra to seal the Kyuubi in their son never occured to me either, but I love it and it makes so much sense!

I thought Kishi did a great job of showing how much Naruto is like his parents, especially his mom. And it was so sweet to see Naruto compliment his mother on her hair, like his father did.

Wow! Naruto reminds me of Oprah – asking all the right questions! lol. I have always wondered how Minato and whoever Naruto’s mother was, came to be, and now we know!

Ooooooo! I really… REALLY love good flashbacks and this one is so cute! Not only because we get to see how Naruto’s parents became an item, but because it’s always refreshing to see some of your favorite characters in their younger days. I also like to do stuff like look at the other characters in the background to see if I can recognize any familiar faces. Do you?

Wow, Naruto’s mom must be uber! Thats one small section I can’t wait to see animated, because right now she looks like A jinchuuriki in human form ready to kick butt with wild hair that could possibly throw you like that girl from Mortal Kombat. lol.

Anyway ^^ It is really pleasing to see how much Naruto is like his parents. The outbursts, the motivation to be hokage, the crazy expressions, and even the way he talks… Kishimoto, I felt, did a great job executing this!

Yes, if this chapter were a rap song, this part would be the punch line! Am I the only one intrigued by this? I wonder what makes Kushina’s chakra so special? I mean, it must be something if Kumo-nin and this guy, tried to kidnap her.  I wonder if those chains of chakra that were used to tie the Kyuubi down  were a small hint of her abilities? Oh well.. whatever it is, I hope that it’s revealed in next weeks chapter, but till then, I can only speculate.  ^.^

The return of Haku, Zabuza, and Kimimaro?

I think this is VERY possible. At least, I sure would like it to be! In chapter 467, Kishi shows us a lovely color spread:

I think there is some significance to this spread. Why would Kishimoto put Kimimaro, Haku, and Zabuza on the same spread with so many other characters? And most of the characters featured in the color spreads have, or in time, re appear in the series again. As of now, all of the characters featured in the spread have some how made some sort of appearance. All of this could be a coincidence, but wouldn’t it be much cooler if it were more than a coincidence!? The spread(above) was released on October 2, 2009. I used red to mark out the faces of those, who at this time, have not appeared yet. They are:

Kimimaro, Kabuto, Kakuzu, Itachi, Deidara, Kisame, Haku, and Zabuza. Come to think of it, I’ve actually seen this same spread with Sasuke on the far left, but I am not sure if this is legit or not (please share the link if you found it, fandomers!) … Anyway, that was October 2, 2009. Lets skip to April 7th, 2010:

Noticing something different? Fewer red dots! Even more characters have appeared! This time its: Kisame, Deidara, Itachi, Pain, Kabuto, Sasori (though not pictured in the color spread) and Kakuzu who make a RE appearance in chapter 490!

Lovely! If things couldn’t get any better, Kabuto says this:

“They are not my only pawns.” … Of course they aren’t, Kabuto-san! If Nagato, Kakuzu, Deidara, Itachi, and Sasori (who, again, is not pictured in the color spread) are all deceased and have reappeared into the series again, then perhaps it leaves a great chance that Haku, Zabuza, and Kimimaro could possibly reappear somehow… perhaps via Edo Tensei. I am only speculating, but as of now, ALL characters have popped back into the story line except for those three. So, what do you think? Could there be any significance to the color spread Kishi provided us? Do you think it’s possible for Haku, Zabuza, and Kimimaro to make a return in the future?

How do you think Madara will re-obtain the Rinnegan?

This comes from from chapter 486. First! Let me say that I think this can be taken several ways, but I do not think there is a new rinnengan user.

I remember Konan, after parting ways with Naruto, took Yahiko and Nagato’s body for a proper funeral. I think it is possible for Madara to seek out Konan and try to retrieve Nagato’s body. And if that happens, things could get very interesting!
